Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was killed yesterday at Utah Valley University while speaking outdoors. He was 31 years old.

Charlie Kirk’s American Comeback Tour: CSU Appearances Planned
The 31-year-old political pundit was in the middle of his college speaking engagement circuit, the American Comeback Tour.
His next stop on this tour was Colorado State University right in Fort Collins. Hosted by the CSU chapter of Turning Point, the free event was going to feature his classic "Prove Me Wrong Table" where he would debate with students/attendees.
Kirk was set to attend two appearances on CSU's campus on September 18th. One was the "Prove Me Wrong Table" at noon followed by an evening event at 6:30 PM.
Both of these engagements were free to the public, so no refunds needed to be issued.
Charlie Kirk appeared in Northern Colorado a few years back with President Donald Trump during the 2020 campaign season.

Investigation Update: Suspects and FBI Involvement
Kirk's assassin remains at large (September 11th, 2025 at 1:30 PM).
On Wednesday evening, officials shared that two suspects were detained and one was released.
The FBI has released photos of a 'person of interest' in the Kirk investigation, according to the New York Times. The federal investigators are offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person behind this act of violence.
