Teddy Bear Toss weekend is finally upon us!

One of the biggest Colorado Eagles games of the year is upon us, and it has nothing to do with their opponent.

Every year, the Eagles host a Teddy Bear Toss at a game of their choice. This year, it happens to be this Saturday, Dec. 11 against the Bakersfield Condors.

How to Prepare for the Teddy Bear Toss

If you have tickets to the game, fantastic! All you have to do is bring new or gently used stuffed animals to the Budweiser Events Center.

Although the BEC will still be enforcing its clear bag policy for regular purses, any bags that hold your stuffed animals are welcome. So, bring those trash bags full of teddy bears!

After the first Colorado Eagles goal, get ready to throw those bears!

If you are unable to make the game, no problem! Feel free to drop off your teddy bears at Townsquare Media, located at 600 Main Street in Windsor, or at the Budweiser Events Center prior to the game.

What to Expect From the Rest of the Night

The Eagles went on a tear against the Tucson Roadrunners last weekend (Dec. 4) to notch a 4-0 victory at the BEC.

Looking forward to the matchup between Colorado and Bakersfield, both teams have fairly even current season records.

The Condors are sitting at 6-6 on the season and the Eagles are sitting at 8-8.

The Eagles lost to the Condors back in October, but it was an even fight that ended 5-4. Both Friday, Dec. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 11, will be a rematch for the Eagles to hopefully show out for an impressive home crowd and a fantastic promotional weekend.

Tickets are going fast, so get them online before it's too late.
