Larimer County reported that the American Red Cross of Northern Colorado is currently spending $3,000 per day just to house evacuees during the Cameron Peak Fire

Many evacuees do not have anywhere to go, and have to stay in shelters and hotels in Northern Colorado until it is safe for them to return home, if they are able to return.

The Cameron Peak Fire has been burning since mid August, and has burned over 120,000 acres. As it continues to grow, those who reside in the Red Feather Lakes area are unsure how long they'll be displaced. You can help by donating to the Red Cross here.
