A 46-year-old man was rescued after a crash while biking in Lory State Park. The man was found in an area between the Timber and Westridge trails, near the top of the park. Larimer County rangers were notified at about 5:27 p.m. on Wednesday.

Thirty-four responders, including those from Poudre Fire Authority and volunteer firefighters from PFA, Larimer County Emergency Services, Larimer County Search and Rescue, UCHealth EMS and Larimer County parks responded to the accident.

They hiked in with rescue and medical equipment, getting to the man at 6:41 p.m.
They then carefully carried him to where UCHealth's air ambulance was waiting to transport him to get medical care. The man was in serious condition. His name was not released.
