Ingenious Solution to Cellphone Rudeness in Restaurants: The Phone Stack
Okay, I must confess to texting once in a while during dinner. And I’ve been put-off by friends who spend half the meal scanning their Facebook timeline! So, I was intruiged by this little game I saw described over at the Kempt blog and wanted to share it with you right away. It’s like a drinking game, but it’s meant to put an end to cellphone rudeness at dinnertime once and for all!
Basically, when you meet your friends for lunch or dinner at a restaurant, you each place your respective cellphones in a stack, face-down, on the table. They’ll ring and chirp and beep throughout the meal, but you’re not allowed to touch the phones. The first person to break the rules must pick-up the dinner tab. Brilliant!
