Hobby Lobby Raises Their Minimum Wage to $17

The crafting retailer Hobby Lobby made an announcement on September 14 that minimum wages at its locations will be increasing for full-time employees.

Hobby Lobby founder and CEO David Greene said "We have always worked hard to be a retail leader when it comes to taking care of our people".

Full-time employees at 923 Hobby Lobby locations will be seeing the pay increase to $17 per hour starting on October 1.

The current minimum wage for the state of Colorado is $12.
