Greeley Teen Sent Home From School for Dyed Hair [VIDEO]

A middle school girl in Greeley was sent home after showing up to school with her hair dyed a different color, the Coloradoan reports.

The girl dyed her hair blue, because it's her favorite color.  But apparently the school has rules against blue hair, since its supposedly a gang-affiliated color.

It's pretty obvious from the video below that this particular student is not a gang member.  This story, like the similar issue several weeks ago regarding a Peyton Manning jersey, really make me wonder where we draw the line between expression and regulation in schools.

Now, I don't live in Greeley; but is the gang violence really bad enough to warrant these oppressive dress code rules in Greeley schools?  Let me know what you think in the comments section below...
