If you love Christmas lights and decorations, you are in for a very special treat.

Holiday Lane at Island Grove is a drive-thru holiday lights experience in Greeley that will loop around Island Cove. The event will be held right after Thanksgiving on Friday Nov. 27 and Saturday, Nov. 28, according to the Greeley Tribune.

This is such great news considering Greeley's annual Light the Night parade was canceled to due to COVID-19. It's just another way to enjoy the season and have some fun.

Past parade participants can still show off their business and Christmas decorating skills by decorating a section along the route.

Hours for the event will be 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission is $5 per car and $10 for passenger vans, buses and things like that. The event is it will be CASH ONLY, so no debit or credit cards.

So mark your calendars for Thanksgiving weekend and check out some of these Christmas displays as we get into the spirit for which I'm sure will be a very unique holiday experience for us all, but if 2020 has taught us anything, it's to adapt, adjust and just roll with it.
