Take a Look at Colorado’s Big, New G-Que BBQ
The Fort Collins area finally got its own G-Que BBQ location in April of 2026. It's the seventh location of the small restaurant chain that started out in the Denver area in 2015.
Colorado-Born BBQ Joint Started by Missourian
It's hard to not be a fan of a Colorado success story: Here's a man who grew up in Missouri, made his way out to the Denver area, launches his own BBQ joint and it not only wins awards, but it takes off. Of course the only way the story could be better is that if Jason Ganahl had grown up in Colorado.
The huge, 4,000 square-feet G-Que BBQ is located off of Harmony Road, east of I-25 in the up-and-coming Ladera development. Things will be getting very crazy there when the In-N-Out opens (right next to G-Que BBQ;) but that's the price we pay for being such a sought-after area of Colorado.

When I visited G-Que, I was expecting barbecue; and yes, there is a lot of barbecue, but they also have ice cream. I was not expecting ice cream. I also found that they have a full bar (wasn't expecting that,) and their Happy Hour comes with your first beer being only $1 (I really wasn't expecting that.)
Great Food, Yes.. Also a Great Bar
Not only is G-Que BBQ a restaurant, but It definitely comes across as a place to meet friends for a drink: they have big mugs for beer, a selection of fun cocktails, and a patio where you can sit at the bar while being outside.
