With warm summer temps now hitting Northern Colorado, here's some free fun you can cool off with in Fort Collins.

This time last year, we didn't have a whitewater park (it opened last October — brrr), but now we do, and it's just north of Old Town. There's also no fee to use it.

The whitewater park at 202 E. Vine Drive is open to kayaks, tubes and those who want to get their feet wet in a safe, family-friendly way. However, the City of Fort Collins reminds you to 'please follow physical distancing regulations when using the park' at this time, and keep gatherings small: Don't Boulder Creek it, everyone.

Even the Poudre Fire Authority couldn't help but (seemingly) enjoy the park while hosting some swiftwater rescue training.
