A 70-year-old Fort Collins man was arrested in connection with several indecent exposure incidents that took place along the Poudre River Trail.

Last week, District 1 Fort Collins Police officers were on directed bicycle patrol on the Poudre River Trail, after receiving multiple reports of indecent exposure, possibly involving the same suspect.

Officers contacted a man at Legacy Park in Fort Collins who matched the suspect description. Following an investigation, the man, later identified as 70-year-old Michael Paterson, was positively identified as the suspect in the indecent exposure cases.

Paterson was subsequently arrested on July 23 for Indecent Exposure (a class 6 felony). He was booked in the Larimer County Jail and has since bonded out.
