If you're not a fan of this heatwave (hi, me), don't sweat it. Temps in the 70s are just around the corner, starting next week.

According to the National Weather Service, the Fort Collins area is in for a warm weekend. Highs in the upper 80s are expected on Saturday with a chance of thunderstorms, and we could reach the mid 90s on Sunday, with no rain in the forecast.

If you need to beat the heat, Trail Ridge Road has reopened (remember that you now need reservations), and it's your last weekend to hit the slopes in Colorado.

But, after hitting the 90s our first week of June, relief is on the way. Starting Monday, Northern Colorado is in for a slight cool off, with a high of 82, and on Tuesday, it's expected to only reach the low 70s as a high; chance of showers both days.
