Fort Collins Firefighter up for NFL ‘Hall of Fans’ Class of 2020
'Rescue Rob' Garner is one of only six who are up for the 2020 class of Ford Motor Company's NFL 'Hall of Fans.' There's no question, that he deserves it.
In December of 2019, Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Denver Bronco Champ Bailey knocked on the door of Rob Garner and gave him the news that he'd been selected as one of the nominees for the 2020 Ford Hall of Fans.
Rob, a firefighter with Poudre Fire Authority, certainly seems to fit the criteria that Ford is looking for in their second annual contest: Someone who is a SUPER fan of their team AND a contributor to their community. Boom.
Rob has a fixed up 1976 Ford fire engine, 'Broncos Country Engine 7,' that he takes out to the stadium for tailgates and to charity events in the area.
Being one of only six nominees, Rob's chances are pretty good. He could be going to Super Bowl LIV. You can vote for him through January 27, 2020, HERE.
