Flight Path for 4th of July Fort Collins Flyover Announced
Even though we won't have a fireworks show in Fort Collins this year, we can still enjoy an Independence Day flyover.
According to the Northern Colorado Regional Airport - FNL Facebook page, 20 volunteer pilots will gather at the Loveland airport on Saturday, July 4, to honor healthcare workers with an airplane parade.
Each pilot will also carry a frontline worker, including local nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists, and assisted living facility workers.
The planes will take off at 10 a.m. and fly for about 25 minutes, passing over Fort Collins and Loveland.
Five hot air balloons will also be taking off from Twin Silo Park at 6 a.m. The balloons are expected to head towards Windsor.
