They hint at a lot of surprises during the three episode special, from creating spaces for a multi-generational family to surprise visits from wildlife, uncovering unique hidden gems of architectural details and more.
If you're wondering, Colorado has a special place in the Gaines' hearts, as their family travels here relatively frequently for ski trips and trips when the kids have been on break. And in those trips, Joanna Gaines says, "a dream took root to one day carve out a place of our own. While taking Fixer Upper out of state meant we were in for a steep learning curve, our hope is that this home would far outlast us, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”

Magnolia Network describes the series as an "exciting new chapter for Chip and Joanna" with "fresh, inspiring and heatwarming storytelling that continues to make Fixer Upper a beloved franchise."
Seems like a must watch for those of us who already live here! Fixer Upper: Colorado Mountain House debuts December 9 on Magnolia Network and HGTV.
