First-Ever Cheyenne Firefighters Calendar a Hot Item [PHOTOS]

When 15 firefighters from Cheyenne Fire and Rescue agreed to shed their coats and put out their first-ever charitable calendar, little did they know how hot of an item it would be.

Since the 2018 calendar was revealed on September 25, nearly 400 have been sold.

"There's about 100 left," said Cheyenne Firefighters spokesman Derek Pollnow. "Those are going to be down at the Coats for Kids (giveaway) event tomorrow as well as at the Black Dog Animal Rescue dinner."

Proceeds from the calendars, which cost $20 each, are being split between two organizations - Coats for Kids and Black Dog Animal Rescue.

"We've had such a great response," said Pollnow. "We have another 500 being printed currently and as long as the demand is there we will continue to print more."

"We really do love what we do for the community, be it from a red truck or us doing something fun," added Pollnow. "The calendar has been a lot of fun and we sure thank everybody for their support."
