Driver Died in Monday’s Two-Level DIA Fall
A fatal crash occurred on Monday at Denver International Airport and is currently under investigation.
The driver was in the level six passenger drop-off area on the West side of DIA when, for an unknown reason, they accelerated — causing the car to crash through the level barrier and drop down to level four, according to the Denver Channel
The car was immediately engulfed in flames and the driver was declared deceased on the scene, police told the Denver Channel.
The west side of DIA is currently shut down for the investigation.
