Dragonflies Are Everywhere, Here’s Why [Video]
I love the chance to see so many dragonflies right now in Northern Colorado. The rumored reason why, is because there are so many mosquitoes and according to Smithonian.com "a single dragonfly can eat 30 to hundreds of mosquitoes per day." Thank you dragonflies! Apparently with all the mosquito control going on at major water sources, mosquitoes and therefore, dragonflies, have moved to different areas to survive, like my backyard.
