Several of Downtown Loveland’s restaurants/bars are holding a big Cajun boil this Sunday to raise funds for hurricane relief for those in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands!  Who’s hungry?

I heard about this event and said they should call it ‘Boil It Forward.’ I guess they passed on that idea, but it’s going to be a great event just the same!

Five establishments in Downtown Loveland will each be holding a Cajun boil, hoping to be the one establishment to bring in the most money for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

It will run 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday afternoon (October 15, 2017); they are free boils, with a suggested donation of $5 per plate. The establishment that brings in the most donations will be crowned ‘Best Boil!’

Participating Establishments:

Burk's Tavern

Chiller's Bar & Grill

Generations Wine and Martini Bar

Laureate Publick House

Top Hat Saloon

Note that 4th Street Chophouse, Henry’s and Taste Local Café have contributed to the fund, but are unable to put on a boil. You can stop by their establishments for a donation envelope, though.

There’s nothing like a great Cajun boil! Seafood, corn, potatoes… mmmmm good!  Trying out FIVE different variations sounds like a delicious ‘challenge’, and it will help out our fellow citizens going through very tough times!

Get out there and Boil it Forward!
