Downtown Loveland Introduces Contest to Run Through Construction

Major construction happening in Downtown Loveland on 4th Street will continue into spring of 2026. That is a long time for businesses to see a slow-down in customers coming through their doors; this contest hopes to help with that.

I live in Downtown Loveland and I can tell you, the City of Loveland is doing a LOT of work on 4th Street. They're doing it in sections, with two blocks on the east end of 4th being the starting point.

They've done a great job of making the storefronts as easy to get to as possible, with fencing only blocking off the street itself. But, the construction is bound to have many people who might think of heading downtown, decide not to.

Shop in Downtown Loveland and You Could Win $100

Beginning in late February, the Loveland Downtown District began their "Shop & Win" contest that will run all while the construction is happening.

How Does the Downtown Loveland Contest Work?

When people spend money any of the businesses in the Downtown District, and upload a copy of their receipt (picture, screenshot) to their form, they'll be in the running to win $100 gift card to use in Downtown; they'll have one winner every week.

With the construction happening for over a year, that'll be more than 50 winners of $100, all for doing a little shopping/dining/getting a haircut, throwing some axes, etc. in Downtown.
