Dickey’s BBQ Pit Opens ‘Legit’ Location in Windsor

Known for their slogan: 'Legit. Texas. Barbecue.', Dickey's has opened their fourth Fort Collins area location, this one in east Windsor.

I heard they were having a 'soft' opening today (Dec. 5, 2019), and I hadn't brought a lunch, so I jumped when I heard that the soft opening meant 'free food.'

The newest Dickey's Barbecue Pit is located on Water Valley Parkway off of Highway 392 and Eastman Parkway. It's a little south of the Shell station and Pelican Joe's. 1399 Water Valley Parkway, to be precise.

I had a chicken sandwich with coleslaw and mac & cheese. It was delicious.

With only Nordy's, way on the southwest side of town as BBQ competition, this is a great addition to the food choices in Windsor.

Dickey's in Windsor officially opens on Friday, December 6, 2019.
