Colorado’s Home to One of the Best New Restaurants in the Country

If there's one thing every Coloradan can agree on, it's that we love a great meal. Esquire magazine has selected a Mexican restaurant as a place where you will definitely find one.

Their list included 35 places from across the nation, many of which are in California and New York; the Colorado is the most "inland" of the states listed to have a fantastic place to spend your money on a great meal.

If you are a fan of Mexican dishes, this is a great "win-win."

Four journalists at Esquire were involved in putting together the magazine's 2024 list of the "Best New Restaurants in America;" I've said it before, it must be a "rough" job to travel around eating great food to determine this list.

Located near Speer Boulevard and I-25 in Denver you'll find this Mexican restaurant, a Michelin Star winner whose owner and Chef is also 2024's Michelin Guide "Young Chef" award winner. That is a lot of accolades for a new restaurant.

Alma Fonda Fina is a far cry from any "big name" Mexican restaurant that you may have dined at. It is a very authentic and limited menu, which changes regularly.  It's a restaurant that fits into the trendy LoHi neighborhood of which its located.
