Tuesday was an eventful night for the Denver Nuggets – first, coming off a big win against the Trail Blazers, followed by news of several players being traded from the team.

According to the ESPN, late last night, the Nuggets took part in a 4-team, 12-player deal along with the Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Atlanta Hawks. With so many moving parts, this was reportedly the NBA's most expansive trade in nearly 20 years.

The Nuggets traded shooting guard, Malik Beasley, and forwards Jarred Vanderbilt and Juancho Hernangomez to the Minnesota Timberwolves. With this, Denver received Shabazz Napier, Noah Vonleh, and Keita Bates-Diop from Minnesota.

The Houston Rockets also acquired two players from Minnesota and sent their starting center, Clint Capela, to Atlanta. In addition, they traded Nene Hilario to Atlanta and Gerald Green to Denver. Green is currently battling a foot injury, keeping him out for the remainder of the season. As part of this transaction, the Nuggets also get a first-round draft pick.

All in all, Denver was probably the least effected by this multi-team trade deal, but should see some results in the log-run. There is also the potential for other moves to be made, like Denver swapping that first-round pick, prior to the NBA trade deadline at 3p ET on Thursday, February 6.
