
Denver Broncos Quietly Win The Offseason; Now Sign A Former Giant
If you follow any coverage of the NFL offseason, hopefully by now you're encouraged by the moves that the Denver Broncos have made to bolster a roster that already beat the odds last season to make the playoffs. Yes, last season ended in a playoff loss at Buffalo, but the fact that many had picked the team to be the worst in the league and they defied those odds was already pretty cool.
Especially given the emergence of QB Bo Nix as a legitimate rookie starter, the fact the team has made a ton of moves to beef up the staff on both sides of the ball has proven exciting.

They've added key pieces to the defense at safety and linebacker, they added a stud tight end and now they're getting to work on the special teams.
You may have seen that punter Riley Dixon departed Denver for Tampa. There's been a lot of "almost" signings of this punter or that to replace him, but it appears head coach Sean Payton has finally found his guy.
30-year old Matt Haack, an 8-year NFL veteran who played last season with the New York Giants signed a deal with the Broncos, reuniting him with new Denver special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi, who worked with Payton in New Orleans.
Poke around some of the NFL gossip and analysis sites... one thing everyone seems to be agreeing on - and we haven't even gotten to the draft yet - is that Denver is making the right moves and the Broncos are on the way up!
