Dear Taco Bell, I see your '12 Beautiful Taco Bells You Never Knew Existed' list, but I also see that our Taco Bell is not on it, and you bet I'm spicier than a Fiery Doritos Locos Taco.

Longtime customer, first time letter-to-the-Taco-Bell-editor writer over here, 'cus I've got more beef than Arby's. Let me say, I really enjoyed the list, which featured standout Taco Bell restaurants in 26 different countries, and I understand that you had to comb through over 6,000 locations. That's a lot of work, so I can see why you would overlook the small town of Fort Collins, like you overlook my extra packets of mild sauce (OK, I'm sorry. That was uncalled for, you always remember and you give me enough for two months).

What's so 'glorious' about our Taco Bell, you ask? Let me introduce you to the Taco Bell at 1530 S. College Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado.

First of all, it's kind of famous because it obviously used to be a house. I didn't see any other Taco Bell houses on your list...

And, it's not just a house, it's a beautiful 1930s historic home with Spanish architecture. The home was going to be demolished by Taco Caliente in the early 90s to make way for Taco Bell, but the city actually fought to have the home saved. Why? Because the house was, is, and will always be Taco Bell.

'I said, 'Look, this is a Taco Bell.' 'It has a Spanish clay tile roof, it has arched windows and doorways. The little chimney is (in the shape) of a little bell tower!' Former City Planner Carol Tunner told the Coloradoan

In fact, the Coloradoan did a whole story about it a couple years ago, and it'll really warm your Chalupa. But, if that doesn't ring your taco bell, let me show you the home's gorgeous fireplace in the middle of the fast food establishment that says, 'Slow down, your life is going too fast. Sit beside me and warm the cheese on your Cheesy Gordita Crunch.'

Time stands still.

I rest my case for #13 on your '12 13 Beautiful Taco Bells You Never Knew Existed' list.

Sincerely,

Shelby
