Colorado State University remained an NFL pipeline for wide receivers this past weekend.

Former Rams WR Olabisi "Bisi" Johnson was taken by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round of the NFL draft with the 247th overall pick on Saturday.

The 6-foot-1, 204-pound Lakewood native is the third CSU wideout in the past four years to be selected into the NFL draft. The Dallas Cowboys drafted former Rams WR Michael Gallup in third round of last year's draft and former Rams WR Rashard Higgins was taken in the fifth round of the 2016 draft.

Johnson, 21, made 125 catches for 2,019 yards and 11 touchdowns in 49 career games for CSU.

While Johnson was the lone Rams player to have his name called at the draft, his former teammates wide receiver Preston Williams (Miami Dolphins) and linebacker Josh Watson (Denver Broncos) also inked undrafted free agent rookie contracts.

CSU also announced that linebacker Tre Thomas (Indianapolis Colts) and running back Izzy Matthews (Houston Texans) were invited to NFL rookie minicamps.
