New Colorado State University football coach Steve Addazio has announced his first two members of his new coaching staff for 2020.

The Rams hired Ball State offensive coordinator Joey Lynch to the same position in Fort Collins.

Addazio also brought his Boston College running backs coach Brian White with to CSU as senior associate head coach.

“Both men embody the characteristics we are looking for in this program: passion for the game, love for those around them, and an unrivaled toughness," Addazio said in a press release.

"I am looking forward to getting them both on the road to meet with recruits and around our program to grow with our players, staff, and community.”

Lynch worked as his alma mater Ball State for 11 years, including the past six as offensive coordinator. Last season under Lynch, the Cardinals offense led the Mid-American Conference in scoring (34.8), total offense (463), and plays per game (75.8).

Lynch will also serve as quarterbacks coach for CSU.

White is known for his work with running backs. He's worked under Addazio at Boston College for the past five seasons. He was previously offensive coordinator for Wisconsin and Syracuse.
