Now that's a lot of Fort Collins rent checks.

Colorado State University announced their "record-breaking research enterprise" and how it's officially hit $398.5 million dollars for their fiscal year of 2019. For those of you thinking to yourself, researching what? Colorado State remains transparent to the public.

"In an era of shrinking federal funding and increased competition for that funding, the fact that our federal expenditures have continued to increase speaks to the quality, breadth and depth of our faculty," said Alan Rudolph, the Vice President for Research, on Colorado State's official website.

This much money being diverted towards research projects means an increase in industry awards, sponsored awards, and project proposals. Overall, it means that CSU is paving the way for progress.
