In the year 1999 "Higher" from the band Creed was playing on radio station's everywhere and constantly in my car. Then again, "With Arms Wide Open" in 2001. The rock band from Florida was a common name in the rock genre. But after several more hit songs, somewhere in the mid-2000's, lead singer Scott Stapp seemed to be going "off the deep-end".

The band and lead singer, are often times part of a joke in radioland. So, when I recently caught a Dr. Oz episode with a Scott Stapp interview about mental illness, I tuned in. Turns out, he has bipolar disorder and that's nothing to joke about. I also found an even more in-depth interview that ABC did this summer. I wish nothing but the best for Scott Stapp.
