Craft Your Jack O’ Lantern at a Northern Colorado Craft Brewery
There are a couple of events coming up in Northern Colorado where you can not only enjoy a delicious craft beer, but you can also carve your pumpkin for Halloween!
A lot of people enjoy carving up a pumpkin or two for Halloween. It can be a lot of fun. Messy, but fun! When I saw that a couple of microbreweries in Northern Colorado were holding parties to carve pumpkins at their breweries, I thought it sounded like a great match.
On October 18, 2017, Snowbank Brewing in Fort Collins is holding a pumpkin carving party. For $15 they supply you with a pumpkin, pumpkin carving tools/booklet and a pint of beer. Their Cranknbrew sounds like it would fit right in! Two winners that night will each receive a pair of passes to Scream Acres at the Fritzler Corn Maze! That event starts at 6 p.m. that night.
On October 22, 2017, it looks like Loveland Aleworks will be holding their pumpkin carving contest from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., with both youth and adult divisions! They’ll be giving out gift cards, prizes, and candy. You do need to bring your own carving tools to this event. That ups the stakes, I believe. I can see someone showing up with a Dremel tool and whatnot, to win! There’s no cost to enter this event, however.
Crafted beers, crafted Jack O’ Lanterns! It definitely has that ‘Only in Northern Colorado’ feel!
