
Are Colorado’s 5 Cracker Barrel Locations in Jeopardy, Now?
Colorado has five Cracker Barrel locations across the state, most of which seem busy all the time. With the backlash over the company's rebranding, will one or more of Colorado's stores have to shutter.
Cracker Barrel's $700 Million Rebrand Could Cost Colorado Locations
As they say, "The only thing constant is change," but they also say, "Nobody likes change." The latter seems to be in play when it comes to Cracker Barrel wanting a new look: People came undone about it. "Why take away the 'old-timey' feel?"
Cracker Barrel's Loveland location, at Loveland Yards, has been open for an estimated 30 years.
I think we can all agree that a company has to adapt to stay alive/relevant, as the times change. Apparently, though, Cracker Barrel may not have done survey as to what folks would think of getting rid of "Uncle Herschel" and the barrel on that classic logo.
It harkens back to when Coca-Cola introduced "New Coke" in 1985 Everybody freaked out about it, and "Classic Coke" was on the shelves within three months, to sooth the masses. With Cracker Barrel's logo and "vibe" change, it brought on a huge loss in stock value in August of 2025.

You would have to think that with a loss of almost $100 million ($94 million) and a near $200 Million loss in capitalization, that not only heads are going to roll, but budgets are going to have to be slashed; with that, will they be shutting down locations?
Where Are the Colorado Cracker Barrels as of August of 2025?
- Colorado Springs.
- Denver.
- Loveland.
- Northglenn.
- Pueblo.
Hopefully, with Cracker Barrel having 660 locations in 43 states, Colorado's mere five won't hit their radar.
With the Change, Cracker Barrel Brings Back a Classic
Cracker Barrel's new "All the More" campaign launch included adding items to the menu, including the return of "Uncle Herschel's Favorite;" a fan-favorite breakfast item that they'd discontinued in 2022.
