As someone who's a glutton for large challenges, as well as Winter in Colorado, I admire the gusto it must take to build this life-sized ice castle in Dillon - especially when it hasn't been the coldest of Novembers or Decembers.

While it barely seems real to even the people building it, this thing is no joke.  It's big enough to walk through, or almost play sports inside of, as it's taking over a full acre on a baseball field.  It has a plumbing system to push water into all the right places so there are dozens of gigantic icicles throughout.  At night, lights illuminate it from the inside.

The organizers hope it opens the end of December or early January, and there is a charge for admission; but it might be well worth it!
