Colorado’s Favorite Beer? Probably Not What You Think It Is
Fort Collins is often referred to as the 'Napa Valley of Beer,' which is why Colorado's most-popular brew may surprise you a little.
No, it's not Budweiser or Coors or even New Belgium. With the help of Google Analytics, Food & Wine found the most popular beer in each state, and Colorado's fave? Boulder Beer.
Boulder Beer is Colorado's first craft brewery, started by to University of Colorado professors in 1979, which is cool, but it if you ask someone from Northern Colorado what their favorite beer is, I'm guessing no one is going to say their favorite anything is something from Boulder. (Kidding, I'm kidding...) Congrats, Boulder. You've won this one.
