We here at Townsquare Media and in particular at K99 are extra fired up these days because we are your official home for CSU Rams football as we'll be broadcasting every game (home and away) starting on September 3rd.

One of our favorite traditions for years has been the "Ramwalk" that takes place a few hours before every home game, when the players make their walk into the stadium to prepare for battle amongst the throngs of Rams supporters.

This year, not only is it going to be an awesome experience to witness, the visual of the walk will be updated with a fresh and cool new look with the painting of the trail.

Several campus officials got together and put together a plan to turn this into reality when an open audition sort of speak, where over 20 submissions for designs came in for suggestions on what the walk should look like.

Jocelyn Lapham's design and vision was selected and David Pyle, a professor in arts management had this to say about Jocelyn's design:

"We had some really great ones. We reviewed all of them and when Jocelyn’s came up everybody immediately said that’s it,” Pyle said. “The reason being, all of the proposals were very professionally done, but Jocelyn’s is the one which really spoke to the CSU community."

“The fact she created imagery which pulls all of that together … There are representations here from all the elements. It’s incoming freshman and graduating seniors. We want Ram Walk to be an echo for them or an expression of what it means to be part of this community and CSU.”

You'll be able to experience the Ram Walk in person for the first time in 2022 on September 10th prior to the home opener against Middle Tennessee.
