Colorado Rock Bottoms Bring Back Fantastic Old Faves to Menu

Sometimes "old" is "new," and sometimes "old" is great. It will be great to see some old favorites return to Colorado.

Honestly, when these items left the Rock Bottom menu, there was a collective, "Why?"

Now, people can rejoice; not only are items coming back, but they're also coming with some new items. Do you like wine?

As someone who grew up in Loveland and currently lives in Loveland, I have been a big fan of the Rock Bottom at the Promenade Shops at Centerra for a long time. Many Lovelanders and Coloradans have seen me hanging out there.

Restaurants often change things up to keep up with their community's and the nation's tastes; you have to adapt to stay in the game. This adaptation by Rock Bottoms in Colorado is a "throwback" to more than a few years ago.

Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery began in 1991 in Denver as a restaurant/brewery located at the garden level of the building that was home to Prudential Insurance. Prudential's slogan was "The Rock," so the restaurant's owners decided to call themselves Rock Bottom.

Here we are, 30-plus years later, and a lot of things have changed for Rock Bottom, including ownership changes, but there are still five locations in Colorado. You may have visited one of their oldest locations, on the 16th Street Mall in Denver.

Fans of Rock Bottom will be excited to find some of their old favorites on the new menu which launched in early October, 2023:

• Hawaiian Pizza.
• Bourbon Blue Cheese Sirloin.
• Loaded Mac & Cheese
• Cajun Pasta.
• Brewer's Club Sandwich.

WHAT ELSE IS ROCK BOTTOM ADDING?

• 19 new cocktails, including a Watermelon Margarita and the Cuban Pete Martini.
• They will now have more than 10 varieties of wine — a much, much more extensive selection.
