A naked man is safely down from a power pole after police from several Colorado agencies got involved Sunday morning.

At about 4 a.m., workers at the Comanche Power Plant in Pueblo heard someone yelling from one of the 150-foot steel power line poles. They found a naked man "terrified" and stuck.

Police were called, and used their P.A. system to calm the man down. They also identified the man, and contacted his father who had no idea why his son was in Colorado. His father told police his son had been struggling with drug use.

Firefighters arrived on scene with a ladder truck and coaxed the man down to where he could reach the ladder. Firefighters noticed he had kept his boxer shorts with him, and he stopped and put them on before climbing onto the ladder.

The man was taken by ambulance for evaluation at the hospital.
