If you thought traffic was bad in Colorado, you're not wrong..... WalletHub has released the rankings for each state when it comes to driving and Colorado ranks 5th for the WORST driving in America.

According to their website, "to determine the most driver-friendly states in the U.S., WalletHub compared the 50 states across 31 key metrics. The data set ranges from average gas prices to share of rush-hour traffic congestion to road quality."

Driving in Colorado (1=Best; 25=Avg.):

  • 29th – Share of Rush-Hour Traffic Congestion
  • 24th – Traffic Fatality Rate
  • 44th – Car Theft Rate
  • 18th – Auto-Repair Shops per Capita
  • 41st – Avg. Gas Prices
  • 37th – Auto-Maintenance Costs
  • 33rd – Road Quality
  • 32nd – Car Dealerships per Capita
