Weed vaping products will soon be additive-free.

Weed regulators in Colorado are trying to reduce the number of lung disease cases with this restriction.

The Denver Post reports that "THC oil, in its natural form, is too thick to be atomized or vaporized. These additives are sometimes used as thinning agents to cut the oil and make it possible for vaporization and inhalation."

There was a public hearing discussion with updates Tuesday, October 15.

The Marijuana Enforcement Division proposal includes not allowing certain ingredients in weed vape products.

The Denver Post reports that the ingredients include Polyethylene glycol, Vitamin E Acetate and Medium Chain Triglycerides.

Colorado health officials reported nine cases of the vaping-related illness that has appeared across the country as of last week.
