Centennial Village in Greeley has always been fun to visit and this year they have added art to the fence around the village museum. The artwork is on the fence and was a project with The Greeley Art Commision, Culture and Public Art, the Greeley Museums and local artist Lisa Cameron. It is open to the public and a special dedication ceremony is planned for next weekend.

Lisa J. Cameron Artworks LLC, created the Art Fence titled “Go West” to depict the history of water in Greeley from the 1860’s to the 1940’s. The fence combines painted steel, mural panels, artfully crafted black steel fence posts and a new entryway plaza. Site work was designed and stamped by Russell+Mills Studios.

A special dedication ceremony is planned for Saturday, May 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Centennial Village. The museum is located at

1475 A Street in North Greeley (next to Island Grove Park), to view the artwork and learn more about this One Percent for Art Water project.
