The weather is going to be great for getting some great photos with the Clydesdales this Friday and Saturday. Make plans to be there for their two 3-hour sessions.

How may times have you been out to see the Budweiser Clydesdales when they are available? Some folks go EVERY time that that are in town. I know that I have only done it one time, and that makes me feel embarrassed; I should go more.

It seems that I was just checking the Clydesdales calendar the other day while compiling my story about the history of the Anheuser-Busch plant, and did not see this two-day event listed; maybe it's a last-minute visit.

When you see these giant, majestic animals up close, it can be a bit overwhelming. I know that I felt very, very tiny in their presence, when I did my Camera Day. When you see little kids next to the horses, it's really amazing.

The Facebook event show that at least 75 people are going, with over 1,200 more being 'interested;' I would suggest being ready for long lines on these two days. The Biergarten will be open with beer and food available 30 minutes prior to the sessions until 30 minutes afterward.

WHEN ARE THE SESSIONS?

  • Friday, March 11, 2022: 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 12, 2022 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

At each free session, you can get individual and family photos, as well as take a look at the Clydesdales' stables and their wagon. Handlers will be on-site with the horses to make sure that they and and visitors are safe.
