Billy Joel Announces 2022 Concert at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas

The last weekend in February of 2022, will feature two big name acts, one of which is Billy Joel that Saturday.

It looks like I have plans for two weeks after my birthday in 2022, as the one-and-only Billy Joel is going to be playing February 26 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The last time I was in Vegas was for my 50th, so I don't see why I shouldn't visit five years later to see this show.

This Billy Joel concert is part of a big 'two act' weekend that the home of the Raiders is excited about. On the Friday night of that weekend (February 25, 2022) they are hosting Metallica. I won't be getting tickets for that show, but if you have the money and are fans of both acts, why not?

I have seen Billy Joel five times, including once in Chicago and once in Los Angeles; most recently I saw him when he played Mile High in 2019. All shows have been great, and I'm really looking forward to this Las Vegas one. 'Billy Joel in Las Vegas' - it just sounds awesome.

How convenient is it that the new Avelo Airlines at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport begins flying to Las Vegas in mid-December of 2021? It's going to feel great flying on Avelo to see a show at Allegiant, after Allegiant bailed on their own plans to fly out of Loveland. 

I expect at the is show Billy will mention the Las Vegas Raiders, where me and my friends will shout:

Raiders Suck!

It's going to be great.
