I rarely use it in the summertime, but for me, the Colorado Traffic Cams app is an absolute must have for the winter. It's pretty simple. The app give the latest photos taken from cameras that shoot highways all over the state of Colorado. When I am about to travel somewhere, like Summit County, I have a look at the cams that line the route on the way up, and I can see if the conditions are snowy, icy, or dry. Specific weather cannot be seen on internet websites. They only give the general forecast of what could happen. We all know what that means to Coloradoans. Very little! A real time shot of traffic conditions, or just seeing if the road is completely white gives a great idea of what I'll be facing on any trip around the state.

One problem. There is a remarkably small amount of coverage on I 25 in Northern Colorado.
