Big Berthoud Block Party to Celebrate the Awesome ‘Rock the Block’ TV Homes
For six weeks, four design teams were in Berthoud competing on the fourth season of HGTV's "Rock the Block" show to design four homes. Each home that was worked on was valued at $1.9 million to start, but all appraised at over $2.7 million when they were all done.
One would think that those homes, in the TPC Colorado area, would be closed off to the public while they await new owners. That is not the case, as there will be a big "Rock the Block - Block Party" to celebrate the show coming to Colorado. They'll also be letting 750 people take a tour of all four of the homes.
If you missed it, the season four winners of "Rock the Block" on HGTV were the two guys from the HGTV show "Luxe for Less." The two transformed the winning home into a luxury bachelor pad; by doing so, that home was appraised for the highest amount out of the four, at $2.85 million.
So, with the other three homes appraising at $2.7 million, the value of all four comes to nearly $11 million after HGTV was done. There will be a block party in Berthoud to celebrate how the show came to town, giving many the opportunity to tour the four homes.

The four-hour block party will include food trucks, games and a raffle to benefit the NoCo Home Builders Association's Workforce Development Program. They quickly sold out of the 750 tickets they had to tour inside the four homes.
