The last two weeks have seen the most interesting ways to get shot in the leg. Last week, an FBI agent did a backflip in a bar when his service revolver dropped to the ground and, when he reached for it, the gun discharged into the crowd and struck a patron in the leg. The agent has since turned himself in to authorities and the patron is recovering.

This week, a 67 year-old man in Colorado Springs had enough of a raccoon that was on a telephone pole. Don Upshaw decided the best remedy was his revolver. Somehow in this process of raccoon removal, Upshaw shot himself in the leg. He was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. According to thedenverchannel.com, Upshaw was cited for "prohibited use of a weapon".
