Reports: American Idol Names Mariah Carey as Newest Judge

There has been speculation and rumors swirling around the internet and now it looks like Mariah Carey will be American Idol's newest Judge.

According to TMZ, 42-year-old, Mariah Carey will be one of the at least two new judges on FOX’s biggest show. Looks like Mariah will be raking in $12 million for her first year, the same amount Jennifer Lopez made on the show.
