Though the Cameron Peak Fire has reached higher containment (15%) there is also smoke from a Wyoming fire contributing to unhealthy air.

Cameron Peak Fire Information release a statement alerting the area to an Air Quality Health Advisory on September 20, 2020, for portions of Northern Colorado including Fort Collins and Greeley.

Those with heart disease, respiratory illness, the young, and elderly should consider limiting prolonged exertion and outdoor activities in higher smoke impact areas.

According to authorities, there is a fire burning in south-central Wyoming (Mullen Fire) that saw extreme fire behavior on Saturday, September 19; heavier smoke form that fire will be affecting those in our area into the evening of September 20, into the overnight.
