Blake Shelton is officially jealous, as Adam Levine's Sexiest Man Alive cover for PEOPLE has landed. It was the worst-kept secret in Hollywood and rumors began to spread last week, with Levine himself acting all kinds of coy about his coronation as the sexiest living, breathing creature with XY chromosomes.

This magazine honor should take the sting off of losing 'The Voice' three seasons in a row, after winning the first. Shelton, with whom Levine is embroiled in a torrid bromance, has won each season since and now his main competition Levine can throw this "award" back in his face.

"As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table," Levine, 34, said about his sexification via PEOPLE. Well, Adam, we are pretty sure that your female fanbase has fantasies involving you. Just sayin', sexy man.

The singer - the first musician to be named "Sexiest Man Alive"- continued, "I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."

A. Lev also revealed that he loves to be naked and that he is a practicioner of both yoga and spinning.

Levine, who is engaged to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo, knows that he is blessed and lucky and he is appreciative of that.

"I'm not taking any of it for granted," he said about how things keep going from good to better in his life.

Do you remember who 2012's 'Sexiiest Man Alive was'?  it was Channing Tatum!
