Thousands of shows and events have happened at Colorado's legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre, so when you hear about this "first," it almost makes your head hurt.

Going to a show at Red Rocks to see one of your favorite bands is an event that's hard to beat. Red Rocks is one of the nation's favorite spots for artists to perform at.

Many different kinds of performers have hit that stage, bringing massive crowds to their feet. A show that happened in November of 2023, marked the first time that one particular thing happened there.

Maybe you see that headline and get confused like I was. There have been hundreds of sold-out shows at Red Rocks, and all those artists are on record labels - What are they trying to say?

WHAT WAS THIS SOLD-OUT CONCERT AT RED ROCKS?

It was a concert featuring seven performers: The Open Air concert. You have probably been to a show where there were multiple bands/performers; this one was unique, however.

WHAT MADE THIS EVENT AT RED ROCKS SO UNIQUE?

This was a show that was put on by ONE record label. All the acts were on the Anjunadeep record label. You might call it a "showcase," of the label's acts.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC IS ON THE ANJUADEEP LABEL?

It's Electronic Dance Music (EDM.) If you're unfamiliar, EDM is a broad range of percussive electronic music genres originally made for nightclubs, raves, and festivals.
