
Worker Killed in Accident at JBS Beef Plant in Greeley
A worker at the JBS beef plant in Greeley died after getting trapped in a conveyor belt Tuesday morning.
54-year-old Ralphy Horner of Wellington was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:13 a.m. The coroner’s office, the Greeley Police Department and Occupational Safety Health Administration are looking into Horner’s death.
A spokesperson for JBS told the Greeley Tribune, “It’s a tragic incident. Right now we’re just working with everyone to better understand what happened and make sure it never happens again.”
