Whitney Houston’s Hologram to Perform on ‘The Voice’ with Christina Aguilera
Whitney Houston is returning to the stage as a hologram alongside Christina Aguilera on NBC's The Voice.
Rumors spread that Houston would be gracing the stage but it wasn't until Entertainment Tonight confirmed the news that we got excited. Hologram U.S.A. announced that they were working on a hologram of the late pop icon last year and now fans will get to see it come to fruition. And it's only right to have the woman known as "The Voice" on the singing competition of the same name.
It's unclear what song the two singers will perform on the May 24 finale and Aguilera isn't letting up any hints. "I am sworn to secrecy," she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "I can't say anything, but I'm very excited about the finale. Very exciting things happening."
Hologram USA is also slated to be organizing a world tour with Houston's hologram in collaboration with Houston's sister, Pat Houston, who also serves as the president of her estate. According to Rolling Stone, "the show will be interactive and feature the singer's greatest hits alongside as-yet-unannounced special guests."
